Study Administrator at MHS Karlberg/Cadet Battalion
The Military Academy Karlberg is seeking a Study Administrator to be placed at the Cadet Battalion. At MHS K, basic officer training is conducted for cadets within the framework of the three-year Officer Program led by the Swedish Defence University. The Officer Program leads to a professional degree of 180 higher education credits and the rank of second lieutenant upon employment in the Armed Forces. The Cadet Battalion supports the Swedish Defence University in the implementation of the Officer Program, primarily regarding exercise planning, security, and logistics during exercises. Concurrently, the Cadet Battalion conducts military professional training during the so-called Defence Time, which includes leadership and individual development, military skills, and physical training.
Main Responsibilities
As a study administrator at the cadet battalion staff, you will provide administrative support regarding cadet administration for students in the Officer Program.
- Management of cadet registers
- Management and follow-up of cadets' study breaks/study resumption, changes in educational orientation and units, as well as other cadet incidents.
- Course reporting regarding the Armed Forces' courses in the PRIO system.
- Coordinate collegiums and protocol writing.
- Support in the process regarding enlistment and graduation.
- The position also involves continuous contact with the Swedish Defence University and other units in the Armed Forces.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma and experience in administrative work
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Good knowledge of Swedish
- Swedish citizenship
Meritorious
- Experience in study administration.
- Experience with the Armed Forces' administrative support systems SAP/PRIO and Vidar.
- Experience in staff work within the Armed Forces.
- Driver's license B.
